The days of hanging out at Hogwarts

Chapter 69 It’s a holiday

"Don't think that a pear can please me."

Malfoy stretched out his hand to take the frozen pear, feeling flustered and caught off guard, and spoke with a bit of sternness.

If Loren was like Ron and fought with him to the end, he would have many vicious words to use to attack Loren.

Mudblood, country bumpkin, any sentence can make these people jump in anger. Malfoy will proudly watch others become angry, which gives him a sense of accomplishment.

On the contrary, now, Malfoy felt as if his swear words were blocked by something.

Malfoy buried his head, not daring to look at the Gryffindor people. He was a little annoyed and couldn't be angry with Loren.

The pears taste pretty good. I'll ask Dobby to make hundreds of them when I get back, and bring the unfinished ones to school so that Loren can see the wealth of the Malfoy family.

Let them go this time, Malfoy thought as he ate the pear.

"It's a waste of money to give it to Malfoy." Ron was still a little angry.

"Eat your pears."

Loren didn't pay much attention, he was just a kid looking for a sense of presence. Malfoy is not a good person, nor is he completely bad. He holds on to the concepts instilled by his parents, but cannot fully accept them. He will suffer in the future.

Hermione took small bites of the pear, which was very sweet.

She didn't like Malfoy, and she found quarreling boring. Loren resolved the conflict in this way, and she felt that Loren was different from other people.

At the guest of honor seat, Dumbledore looked at the scene on the dining table with a gentle smile. Loren gave him more surprises than he expected.

I just don’t know what black pears taste like, and even as an old man, I want to try them.

After dinner, the Gryffindor common room became lively.

There is a holiday tomorrow, and the place is crowded with excited little wizards. They don't plan to go to bed so early, and some people don't even plan to sleep tonight.

The students who stayed in school were excited because they were not in class, and the students who returned home were happy because they were about to see their long-lost relatives.

Harry and Ron were sitting around a table, surrounded by many little wizards.

The Weasley twins are demonstrating how to play Cracker Cards, a card game played by up to five people. The cards are special magical items that may explode at any time during the play.

Seamus was interested in this card game, in fact, he had heard of it before.

But his mother warned him that if he dared to play at home, she would stuff explosive cards into his nostrils until they exploded.

Everyone thinks that Simo's mother did the right thing for the safety of their family.

Loren and Neville stood in front of the window, discussing how black pears froze.

Loren felt that the frozen pears this time were not that interesting. Although the taste was good, it was far from the taste in his memory. Perhaps because of lack of time, Loren planned to freeze another batch during the holidays.

Neville liked the taste and texture of frozen pears very much. He was always very patient in handling herbs and food.

Neville was going home for Christmas vacation, and he planned to make some at home to try and give it to his grandma. His grandma was already very old, and this kind of soft food was just right.

"Perhaps we should freeze, then thaw, repeat this several times." Loren reached out to open the window and took out the only frozen pear left in the snowdrift. This pear was specially set aside by Loren and has not yet thawed.

"Can this be done with other fruits?"

"I don't know, you can try some frozen peaches, apples, etc. Maybe they'll taste better."

Loren put the pears into a paper bag and climbed out of the lounge with the bag in hand.

Go down the stairs, down to the basement, and walk along the spooky corridor. Even though other places are decorated with Christmas decorations, this place is still spooky.

I don't know if the old bat eats frozen pears. Loren is not sure. Thinking about the way Snape slurped the pear juice, Lorenko laughed.

It was Snape who opened the door to Loren himself. Loren noticed a letter on the seat. Snape might be reading the letter or replying to some letter.

"Frozen pears, a food from the East." Loren walked in and put the paper bag on the table naturally.

The pears have thawed a bit, and some water has soaked out of the paper bag, leaving marks on the table.

Snape looked at the watermark and frowned, "You don't have to flatter me, Loren. Just concentrate on refining the potion and repay your debt."

Loren ignored Snape's words. Snape didn't know when he changed his tune and stopped calling him Mr. Morgan for a long time. This old bat was very arrogant.

"Are there still classes today?" Loren didn't answer his words. He was anxious to go back to the lounge to learn how to play crackle and explosion cards.

"No, there's no need to come over during the holidays."

"Then I wish you a Merry Christmas, Professor, and goodbye!" Loren said goodbye to Snape. He was anxious to see if Seamus had blown up the lounge.

Snapped!

Loren politely closed the door behind her when she left.

Snape stared at the door for a long time, feeling that Loren was becoming more and more arrogant in front of him. After the holiday was over, he should be taught how to behave.

He returned to his seat and continued to write, his eyes drifting unconsciously to the frozen pears in the paper bag.

Snape stared at the water stains on the paper bag for a while, then put the letter away. He couldn't write anymore. This thing looked really annoying.

He waved towards the cabinet next to him, and the cabinet door opened on its own, and a set of tableware flew out, falling to the table and placing itself neatly.

Five minutes later, Snape took out his handkerchief and wiped his mouth, "Oh, this frozen pear tastes like this."

When Loren returned to the lounge, Seamus had already acquired the explosive card.

Around him sat Harry, Ron and Dean, and up to five people could play Explosive Cards together. There was a circle of little wizards outside watching the fun.

Lee Jordan was passionately explaining the situation: "Currently, Seamus' score is far ahead. I dare say that Seamus is unique in his ability to explode."

Harry quickly threw out a card, fearing it would explode in his hand.

"Harry played his cards, can he score? No! Harry's luck is not good." Lee Jordan was very sorry.

Harry felt that he was very lucky. Compared with his score, he hoped that he would not be bombed.

The other three are always scared when they play their cards, worried that their cards will explode.

Simo is different. When Simo plays a card, it will definitely explode. His hand has been numbed by the explosion, but he still plays the card tremblingly.

"Congratulations to Seamus, as the winner, he can stay on the table and continue the next game!" Lee Jordan was very excited.

"No, I don't want to play!" Simo struggled to escape.

The twins each held Seamus' shoulders tightly and said:

"You want to run away after winning?"

"There is no such rule!"

"Hahahaha!" The little wizards who were watching laughed happily.

Loren looked at it for a while and decided not to participate. He estimated that Seamus wouldn't be able to leave the field today if his hands were blown into pig's trotters.

It’s so tragic!
