I, Hogwarts Second Week

Chapter 37 Magic Mirror, Magic Mirror

"Oh! You are so knowledgeable. I never thought you knew it." Dumbledore was a little surprised by this. "Then you know exactly what it does."

"Of course, he can make people see what they desire most. A very precious magic prop. Where did you find it, Professor?" Owen glanced at the mirror, then opened his mouth and asked with an impassive expression.

"Hogwarts has been passed down for thousands of years, and there will always be some treasures left behind." Dumbledore said noncommittally.

While the two were talking.

The third little wizard who discovered the magical power of this mirror appeared.

"So you're here again, Harry?"

Harry was so focused on the mirror that he completely failed to notice the two people standing in the darkness.

When he was called, his whole body seemed to be frozen. After a while, he turned around stiffly and said, "I - hello professor, uh - and Owen."

"It's strange that you have become myopic after becoming invisible." Dumbledore joked.

"It seems you have also discovered the joy of the Mirror of Erised."

"Then can you tell me what you saw?"

"I -" Harry was a little flustered when he was suddenly asked, as if he was a candidate who was found cheating in the exam room. In a panic, he turned his head quickly and said casually: "I saw myself becoming the president of the Boys' Student Council. I also won the Quidditch Cup."

"Really?" Dumbledore smiled, then turned to look at Owen, "What about you? Child?"

"Me?" Owen stared at the Mirror of Erised and gestured seriously and said, "Ah! Mirror, tell me who is the most powerful wizard in the world."

Then the magic mirror showed a scene of a wizard who inherited ancient magic from the 19th century killing people 0.0 (funny)

"I see myself becoming the Headmaster of Hogwarts!" Owen said in front of the current Headmaster.

"A soldier who doesn't want to be a general is not a good cook, and a student who doesn't want to be a principal is not a good teacher. In twenty years, I will definitely be the greatest principal in the history of Hogwarts!" He looked proud.

With his head raised, he has the aura of pointing out the country.

"By the way, Professor, what about you? What did you see?"

"Me?" The old man with the white beard was still smiling, "I - I saw myself holding a pair of thick wool socks."

"There are never enough socks," the old principal seemed a little distressed: "Christmas came and went, and I only received one pair of socks. People insisted on giving me books."

"Actually, I don't really like reading. I prefer having an exciting adventure. And I've read most of those books."

"By the way, Owen, you can choose a brighter color next time."

"Um - shouldn't the principal look mature and steady? Bright colors will make people think that this person is not reliable."

He pointed to the magic mirror in front of him: "And, did you really see yourself receiving the socks?"

Owen said seriously.

Then, as if some indescribable laughter was triggered, he and Dumbledore both laughed.

Two foxes, one big and one small. Oh! And Harry, the growing fox, is not very honest.

"I heard that you kept a Boggart under your bed, and that the thing you fear most is yourself?" A moment later, Dumbledore came over and talked about other things.

"Maybe the Boggart is broken. I don't know what's scary about me."

As soon as he finished speaking, Harry on the side immediately rolled his eyes, "You're not scary."

Just that killing curse!

He had nightmares for two weeks.

"Really?" Behind Dumbledore's half-moon glasses, a wise light flashed.

Afterwards, the three of them sat on the table next to the mirror and chatted for a long time.

Dumbledore convinces Harry not to look for the Mirror of Erised anymore.

After warning Owen not to scare other students with the Boggart, the three of them left the classroom together.

Before leaving, Dumbledore suddenly said: "About the Mirror of Erised, I saw my sister."

Owen had never seen the old principal look like that.

It feels like regret, like self-blame, and most of all, regret.

After so many years, he still hasn't let go.

I still haven’t forgiven myself for that time.

"She lost her life because of one of my mistakes." Dumbledore patted Owen and Harry's heads as if they were dying and said, "I hope you will never do something you will regret."

Hearing the sound, Harry nodded confusedly.

And Irving, he - he never thought he missed it.

Whether in the past or in the future.

"I understand, Professor." Owen agreed vaguely.

Immediately, a true sentence came out of his mouth, "Professor, actually, I really didn't see anything in front of the magic mirror just now."

He said: "I saw Hannah, Harry, and Hermione standing next to me, as if they were taking graduation photos. Many people gathered together. Maybe my wish is to graduate from Hogwarts?"

Owen guessed that after all, he never graduated in his last life and dropped out of school in the fifth grade.

No one who comes into this world and goes to school at Hogwarts doesn't want to graduate from Hogwarts - well - no, it seems like we really hope to never graduate.

"Oh?" Dumbledore raised his eyebrows lightly, looking at Owen so seriously as never before.

Suddenly, he laughed, for no reason.

I have never smiled so happily.

It was as if the haze that had enveloped my heart since the troll attack had been swept away.

Those disturbing thoughts turned into ice and snow flying in the cold wind. It blew farther and farther along the canyon carrying Hogwarts, and finally submerged in the silent Atlantic Ocean.

It was quiet at night. said the principal.

It's time to rest too.

On the last day of Christmas, it seems that the dinner party atmosphere has returned to Hogwarts.

All students on campus participated in this celebration of faith.

On the table in the auditorium, there were a hundred fat roasted turkeys, piles of barbecued meats and boiled potatoes, large plates of delicious sausages, bowls of peas mixed with butter, and plates of rich and delicious sausages. Thick meat marinade and lingonberry sauce - every few steps along the table, there are piles of wizard packets and firecrackers waiting for you.

There are usually some small magic gadgets or prank props inside.

The Weasley twins didn't like that kind of thing.

Because they think it's too childish.

On the Gryffindor bench, Harry seemed to have emerged from the sadness brought by the magic mirror.

He and Fred raised a colorful explosion, which was the masterpiece of the twins. After igniting it, there was a "bang" and the gorgeous fireworks directly overshadowed the magic on the ceiling, as if to tear the auditorium apart.

The firelight illuminated every darkness.

Immediately Harry and Ron burst into laughter.

Even the always serious Professor McGonagall did not punish them for this. She drank some wine today and her cheeks were a little rosy.

I just giggled when I saw the fireworks.

Only then can we discover that Professor McGonagall is indeed Gryffindor.

Dumbledore also attended the party, wearing a pointed wizard hat with a wreath of flowers on it.

The red and green robe is very ugly.

However, he himself did not take it lightly. While eating the candy given to him by an unknown person on the table, he rolled up his robe and showed Professor Flitwick his new socks.

They were a pair of red socks with a cute pink pig head embroidered on the socks.

He cheerfully introduced to Professor Flitwick that the pink pig was called Peppa Pig, and it was the favorite story character of many Muggle children.

I seem to be able to fish today. Don’t ask, there are only a few people working on Saturdays. The aunties in the kitchen only work for five days. I don’t have to eat on Saturdays~~~~~~~Why~I’m going to die if I don’t have to eat. . (_)
