Hogwarts: I'm a model wizard

Chapter 436 Dumbledore’s surprise

The dementor drifted away and soon disappeared into the darkness.

Kyle turned around and found that everyone else was looking at him strangely.

"What's wrong?"

"Kyle, weren't you scared at all just now?" Harry exclaimed.

Because of the distance and the Patronus blocking the way, Harry did not hear the conversation just now, but could vaguely see that Kyle seemed to have reached some kind of agreement with the Dementors.

But that was a dementor. He would feel a biting coldness all over his body just by getting closer. Kyle actually dared to stand in front of it and stayed there for so long...

"Why should you be afraid? This is Hogwarts." Kyle said.

"Are you okay now?" Hermione couldn't help but ask.

"It's okay," Kyle said. "I told the dementors that Sirius wasn't here, and they left."

Hermione nodded, relieved.

First there were werewolves, and then there were hundreds of dementors. Now she felt that her legs were weak and she just wanted to go back to the dormitory and have a good sleep.

But no, they have to go to Principal Dumbledore first.

Hermione turned to look at the werewolf entangled in the devil's net, "How are we going to take it away? We can't leave it here."

"Don't worry, we don't need to consider this issue anymore." Kyle turned his head and glanced in the direction of the castle.

Probably because the dementors were making too much noise, a large fiery red bird was flying towards this side quickly in mid-air.

It's Fox.

It folded its wings and landed on Kyle's shoulder, tilting its head slightly as if asking what happened.

"We have something to find Professor Dumbledore." Kyle pointed to the werewolf wrapped into a rice dumpling and said softly: "Can you please take it over first?"

Fox nodded, flew over and grabbed the werewolf's head with his claws, and flew back to the castle again.

"Oh my God, was that a phoenix just now?"

As soon as Fox left, Hermione immediately covered her mouth and said in surprise: "I have seen it in a book, and the phoenix above is exactly the same as it."

"It's a phoenix," Harry said. "I saw it in the principal's office. It seemed to be called...Fox?"

"I'm more concerned about Professor Lupin..." Ron opened his mouth, "I wonder if you have noticed that he was grabbed by the head and flew away. Is this really okay?"

"It's no problem if they are in werewolf state. Their bodies are much stronger than wizards." Kyle said, "Okay, let's go back quickly. Professor Dumbledore should be waiting."

Several people hurriedly walked towards the castle.

Sirius, on the other hand, continued to look like a big dog and did not dare to change back.

The few people who returned to the castle did not encounter Filch, nor did they encounter the patrolling professor, and they reached the eighth floor smoothly.

Probably because he had been instructed in advance, after seeing them, the gargoyle in charge of guarding the door jumped directly to the side, revealing the passage behind him.

Harry couldn't help but quicken his pace and was the first to walk in, followed closely by Sirius, but you could see that its hind legs were shaking constantly, and he must be very nervous.

The oak door at the end of the stairs was also open, and Professor Dumbledore was standing behind the desk in a pink strawberry velvet pajamas.

"I think a lot of interesting things must have happened tonight to cause so many of you to collectively violate school rules."

He smiled and asked, "Would you like some pumpkin juice before you tell these stories?"

"No need, Professor." The three people walking in front all shook their heads.

Harry shook his head subconsciously because he was not in the mood, and Ron and Hermione were nervous.

"Can I have a glass of lemonade?" Kyle said.

"Want some sugar?" Professor Dumbledore asked.

"No sugar at all."

As soon as Kyle finished speaking, a glass of fresh lemonade appeared on the table next to him.

Kyle picked it up and took a sip. The sour taste also made him sober.

Before Kyle could finish his drink, Harry couldn't help but said: "Professor, Sirius Black was wrongly accused, and Peter Pettigrew is the real informer!"

"oh!"

Professor Dumbledore looked at him in surprise.

"Although I thought that tonight's story would be exciting, I didn't expect that your first sentence exceeded my expectations."

"So, how did you find out?" he asked. "As far as I know, Peter Pettigrew has been dead for twelve years and was awarded the Order of Merlin, First Class."

"That's fake, it's alive!" Harry raised the cage he was holding tightly, "This is Peter!"

"It turned into a mouse and hid in my house for twelve years." Ron added next to him, his face sullen, as if Scabbers' true identity was an insult to his character.

Dumbledore looked at Scabbers with his blue eyes.

Kyle also took out the Marauder's Map at the right time... In the principal's office, the name of Peter Pettigrew was clearly displayed.

"Oh, I miss you so much." Dumbledore's eyes flickered, "I remember the last time I saw this map, it was fifteen years ago... Strange, shouldn't it be in Filch's office? Couldn't it be? Did I remember it wrong?"

Kyle took another sip of lemonade and said nothing.

Fortunately, Dumbledore did not dwell on this matter, but motioned for Harry to continue.

"So how did you find Peter, because of this magical map?"

"Not entirely..." Harry shook his head, and then recounted the incident starting from Professor Lupin's visit to the Gryffindor common room.

During this period, Dumbledore didn't ask any questions and just listened quietly.

Harry spoke very quickly and finished in about ten minutes.

"So, is it Sirius Black?" Dumbledore looked at the big black dog sitting on the floor, "Animagus... I see, no wonder no one has been able to find you."

The black dog barked and sat upright.

"He is also helpless, Professor." Harry said quickly: "We have all seen it, Scabbers... It's just Peter who keeps banging his head against the wand. This can't be a normal pet, right?"

Dumbledore did not answer his question, but asked meaningfully: "Harry, you seem to believe what Sirius said. Have you ever thought that maybe he is lying to you?"

"I don't think he lied to me." Harry said without hesitation: "I can feel that what he said is true...and if he is lying, he will definitely not dare to come here with us, right?"

"First of all, I have to thank you for trusting me, Harry."

Dumbledore said calmly, "But it's very late now, and after experiencing so many thrilling things, I suggest you go back to your dormitory, drink a cup of hot cocoa, and have a good sleep."

"Then Professor, Sirius Black..."

"Leave it to me, Harry." Dumbledore smiled: "If he is innocent, I promise to give you a satisfactory answer."

"Oh well……"

In fact, Harry still had a lot to say, which related to whether he could leave the Dursleys and go to a place where he didn't need to hide magic books under the floor.

But Dumbledore said so, so he could only nod and walk toward the door with Ron and Hermione.

"Good night then, Professor..."

The three of them left the principal's office one after another.

Kyle was also following him, but he just turned around when Dumbledore said: "Kyle, can you wait a moment?"
