A day at Hogwarts

Chapter 258 Don’t teach me now

In early spring, it was still very cold in the mountains, and the wind that penetrated the collar could make people shiver. Fortunately, the bonfire was strong, dispelling the darkness and bringing warmth.

After nightfall, many nearby teams came over when they saw the flames. The students couldn't wait to share the stories of the past two days with friends who were not in the same group, and it quickly became lively.

Harry was looking for people around different campfires with a steaming Ron's Happy Leg in the shell. When he saw Hermione, he asked her: "Have you seen Charles?"

Hermione shook her head and replied, "I saw it in the afternoon, but not after sunset."

"It's weird." Harry looked around, "Where did he go? I even roasted the spider legs for him."

Hermione saw everything and asked him: "What did you add to it?"

Harry immediately looked up at the night sky and said, "The stars are very bright tonight. He may have gone to the mountain to look at the stars. I will go up the mountain to find him."

Hermione stood up and said excitedly: "I'll go find him with you."

Now in this situation, it is obvious that Harry is trying to play a prank. There are two outcomes. If the prank succeeds, Charles will be tricked, but if it fails, Harry will be punished. Both of them will have fun watching it.

The two searched around and unexpectedly found Charles sitting on a rock on the mountain. Snape, who was secretly patrolling, spotted him earlier.

Snape was the youngest among the deans. If he wasn't on night shift, who would be on night shift?

Charles turned his head and glanced at Snape, but said nothing, not even a greeting.

It's not like he's in Potions class now. He can do whatever he wants. Even if he skips subject three, he can't deduct his points.

Snape just looked at him for a while without saying a word, silently turned around and left, and finally disappeared into the night.

Charles felt relieved, but he was still worried that he would cause trouble for him because of what happened yesterday.

Harry and Hermione rushed over after Snape walked away. Harry asked a little nervously: "Snape didn't do anything to you, did he?"

Charles shook his head.

Seeing that he didn't seem to be in trouble, Harry handed over the roasted spider legs and said obediently, "I haven't seen you this whole time. I baked these and left one for you. It's still hot."

Charles's nose twitched. The smell of pepper coming out of this spider leg was too strong, and it looked a bit like a pepper naughty boy. There was a 80% chance that it would spit fire after eating it. With Harry's cute smile, it was a 10% chance.

He took the roasted spider leg as if nothing had happened, and stretched out his index finger with his right hand to tap the meat on one end twice, as if to test the temperature.

Under Harry's expectant gaze, Charles opened the outer shell of the spider's legs, revealing the white and red meat inside, and ate it slowly.

While eating, Charles said, "It's cold outside. Eat more hot things to warm your body so you don't have to worry about catching a cold."

Harry consciously avoided being directly in front of Charles, but Charles kept turning towards him and talking to him.

Hermione watched with great interest as one of the two guys kept changing positions, and the other turned his head to aim at the target.

But after Charles finished eating the entire spider leg, Harry's feet were tired from hiding, and there was still no sign of spitting fire.

Harry scratched his head and left, wondering what was wrong. Could it be that the spider legs had been roasted for too long and the pepper naughty ones inside had failed?

Hermione did not leave and asked Charles curiously: "Did you cast a spell on the spider's legs just now?"

Charles nodded. The curse "All Curses End" can resolve many curses, and it can also destroy the effects of some potions. He spent a lot of time practicing it after returning from Merlin's trial.

Hermione's eyes lit up, and she immediately sat on the stone next to her, grabbed his arm and said, "Hurry up and teach me!"

Charles shook his head and said: "This curse is a bit difficult. Let's talk about it in two years."

Hermione became angry when she heard this, pouted and said, "Why can you learn it but I can't?"

The past two years of being a top student and the praise from professors gave her enough confidence to learn magic, unlike when she first entered the first grade and worried that she couldn't do anything well.

Forget about senior students, there was no reason why he couldn't learn the spells that Charles of the same age could learn.

Charles smiled triumphantly, as if to say that of course it was because he was better than her.

Hermione shook his arm angrily and kept saying, "Teach me first, okay, okay..."

Charles' hair was black, and his other hand was pointed at her Tian Ling Gai with a knife.

Hermione covered the place where she was hit and stared at him angrily with watery eyes.

Charles was sure that she was not fake. He rubbed his arm where the bones were almost broken just now, but still shook his head.

Hermione kicked Charles on the calf, said "hum", turned around and left.

Charles just shook his head and smiled as he watched the girl leave. The curse of All Curses is very difficult to control. If you are not careful, you can destroy your wand. It is not suitable for young wizards to learn.

The bonfire below gradually dimmed. Everyone was tired and it was time to rest.

Charles went back to join Percy and others, and together they used the transformation spell to build a wooden house with six rooms and one living room. The other students who were setting up tents suddenly felt that their tents were uncomfortable.

Silence returned to the mountains, with only the sound of wind and the crackling of the campfire, and occasionally a snoring sound.

Charles saw that his teammates were all asleep, and thought that he had just seen Eleanor come back, so he would go back and talk to the old man.

In the living room of the island villa, Grindelwald returned to his original state, holding a book and reading seriously. When he looked up and saw Charles coming back, he was stunned and said, "Your grandfather just came to find you."

Charles was so confused that he had no choice but to go back.

Half a minute later, Grindelwald said helplessly to Jack: "Charles came back just now. He went back when he knew you were looking for him."

Ten seconds later, Grindelwald frowned and said to Charles: "Even if it's half a second earlier or later, it's just half a second."

Less than half a minute later, Jack sat on the sofa depressedly and said, "Forget it, I'll wait for him to come back."

Grindelwald wondered if your grandfather and grandson were acting, so he was too lazy to say anything and continued reading.

Charles was sitting on the bed at this time, waiting for the old man to come over.

The birdsong in the early morning woke up the students. More than half of the extracurricular teaching had passed, and there were still two days and one night left.

While eating breakfast, Percy decided that he needed to go to all the check-in points today to complete the check-in, and then return to the castle tomorrow after a night's rest. The time for collecting medicinal materials on the road needed to be shortened.

The others agreed. Anyway, they collected enough moonstones to get enough points. They had to complete the check-in to make sure their scores were passing. They could just pick up something on the way.

Charles also yawned and agreed. He didn't sleep well last night, for fear that the old man would come over, so Dobby came to deliver a letter early in the morning, saying that he would talk about it after the holiday.

The rest of the day was uneventful compared to the encounter with the giant monster, but along the way we met a group of pheasants that are somewhat common in the UK. The group ate delicious roast chicken in the evening.
